Aim: The goal of the events we want to implement is to provide the youth space to improve their own digital skills, in order to create space for new generation (international and as well Dutch children) with free space to discover the cyber security rules, promoting the awareness about cyber security.
The events will have a great impact on the all youngsters involved (they will make researches and create a easy-to-understand informal program/activities for the target group to boost their skills and find out the scam and not to react, ensuring digital safety from the young age. They will learn how to recognize fake messages, how to secure/protect yourself/your personal data in digital world, etc.
These activities will boost confidence, as the children will feel digital “superpower”, they and their parents will understand that digital activities are very important and skills in cyber security are even more important for their safety nowadays. The children will learn how to spend time digitally with quality impact and results.
We plan to cooperate and use the Logiscool’s certified curriculum that fits major international standards, as well as the proven concept with real social/digital impact. Thus, thanks to these events the target group will be given a unique chance to creatively discover the world of digital world!
With this project we also want to motivate other organisations/youth to get involved in such initiatives, promoting digital knowledge.
What/Title: Meet & Code: Cyber Security & Digital Awareness
Goal: To bring together international young volunteers to work together and promote digital knowledge from the young age, raising awareness about cyber security.
Target group:
10-15 years old Dutch & international children
Frequency & Duration: 1 big event for 2 groups with the total duration of 240 minutes (4 hours).
Entrance: Free of charge for the target group, but with registration in advance
Implementation Period: September 1, 2023 - October 31, 2023.
Cooperation/Partners: Bright Future Foundation, Logiscool Nederland and other possible partners, who might be interested to join, when the subsidy is provided to us for this event.
