LEGO Robotics activity day

FRIENDS OF OAKFIELD SCHOOL

Descripción Robotics event for year 5/6 pupils at Oakfield Junior School to include pupils from the learning difficulties centre attached to the school. Two groups of 30 pupils will complete LEGO robotics building and programming plus a follow-up mars rover themed virtual robotics challenge.

Goal is to inspire pupils to see how computing can solve real-world challenges and to extend the coding they have done in class with some practical physical computing.

Pupils will also learn team working, problem solving and perseverance.
