Description
We would like to organise free Code and Play sessions for the children from our primary school, with a particular focus on supporting Pupil Premium children and those attending our Nurture Clubs.
The sessions would take place once a week during lunchtime, on school premises. During these sessions, children will have the opportunity to learn how to create their own games using Scratch, as well as enjoy playing games with their peers on a Nintendo Switch.
To support this initiative, we are hoping to purchase a Nintendo Switch 2 console, which costs approximately £400. This equipment will also enable us to prepare for and participate in the upcoming eSports competition for primary schools, organised by Samsung KX.
