Lego Labs with the micro:bit

Wigod Way Wallingford Family Centre

Description The event helps young people to explore the wonderful world of science and help them to identify how Science can only happen with the wider ecosystem of support. The goals of the event are for children to develop their programming skills, physical computing skills and maker skills using Lego and connecting moving parts and sensors with the micro:bit. The activities are targeted at young people in the community, especially those with FSM of from areas of decile deprivation of 1-4.

The event is special for the centre as it enables us to provide STEM activities alongside our art and creative activities to create STEAM experiences.
