Get ready for a week of innovation, imagination, and hands-on learning at the Build & Code: Game Makers Camp! Designed for children aged 8 to 11, this dynamic educational event combines the creative power of LEGO Education sets with beginner-friendly coding tools to bring physical games to life.
Throughout the week, young makers will explore the exciting world of engineering and programming as they design, build, and code their own interactive physical games—from spinning mazes and reaction-time challenges to creative obstacle courses and custom arcade-style projects. Using LEGO Education kits such as SPIKE Essential and intuitive coding platforms like Scratch or icon-based block coding, children will work both independently and in teams to:
Learn core STEM concepts through hands-on construction
Discover the basics of programming logic and loops
Solve real-world design challenges through trial and error
Bring their game ideas to life with motors, sensors, and code
Showcase their final projects in a fun demo day for family and friends
Guided by experienced instructors, this camp encourages creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking in a playful and supportive environment. Whether your child is new to coding or already loves building with LEGO bricks, this week-long journey will inspire confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.
