Eligible expenses: What the grant covers
Your Meet and Code funding can be used
only for the registered event and for charitable purposes. Here are examples of what you can spend it on:

Licenses for online teaching tools or costs of maintaining online platforms

Learning materials for participants (including preparation and shipping, e.g. workbooks, computer equipment)

Communication and outreach costs to reach your participants (flyers, posters, online ads, social media promotion)

External professional support, e.g. technical experts or organizational help

Venue rental, if needed for technical reasons to run your event
👉 Keep in mind: the TechSoup Foundation or its partners in the TechSoup Europe network have the final say in awarding the grant once eligibility criteria are met.
Eligibility criteria: Who can apply?
Organizations interested in applying for a Meet and Code grant must first register with Meet and Code and undergo validation of their status as a charitable non-profit organization. This process is performed by the TechSoup Europe network partner in the applicant organization's country.
Authorized representatives of the organization are required to provide details of their organization with a comprehensive description of their event idea and valid contact information. More than one event idea can be submitted as long as the projects are significantly different from one another.
Event requirements
Your planned event should meet these basic conditions:

between 1 July and 31 October 2025
👩🎓 Be aimed at
children and young people aged 8–24
🎟️ Be
free of charge for participants
👥 Involve at least
20 participants
⏱️ Last for a
minimum of 240 minutes per participant (this can be spread out across multiple sessions, but the same group must participate throughout)
The events should address and include children and youth from underserved and underrepresented groups and must be free of charge for participants.

How to apply
- Register your organization on the Meet and Code website.
- Complete the TechSoup validation process.
- Submit your event idea — be as creative, inspiring, and clear as possible.
- Wait for approval (usually within 4 weeks).
- If successful, you’ll receive €500 to run your event.
- After your event, complete the required pre- and post-event surveys.
