Digital photography in school capturing first memories - Early Years Foundation Stage to Year 3 children. Group 2 of 3
The aim is to raise awareness of how digital photography can be used within teaching and learning in Foundation Stage and Year 3. Foundation Stage children are new to the school and the aim will be for the Year 3 children work with FS children to create a first memory of school photo.
We will focus on esafety and asking permission to take photographs. We will look at what makes a good and bad photograph with shred examples and sorting. This will support pupils' understanding of composition and help them to plan the FS child they are working with.
Children will learn how to add filters and design composition for photos. Parents will receive a copy of the photograph as part of a gallery afterschool.
for each session the teacher will work with Year 3 and FS children combined and then work with small groups of 20 Year 3s and Foundation for more focused work for four hours.
