Opis Introduction to Robotics.
The event will introduce robotics in an interactive and fun way, outside of the classroom environment.
An experienced instructor will introduce the topic (talk/ show short video) and then guide the members with hands on use of the robots.
Explaining in very basic terms, the basic engineering and coding concepts which are being employed by the robots in action.
The goal of the event is to introduce members to robotics and encourage them to develop this interest by joining a local coding club. Ideally interested members would join the classes and form a team to compete in the Offaly VES IQ Championships.
From the coding perspective, we would like to use this event to encourage girls ( in particular) to attend a separate coding event on 21st Oct.
