The Finalists
More than 700 events participated in the Meet and Code Award 2018 in three award categories. The Jury selected 15 exceptional events as finalists. Two representatives of each organization are invited to an Award Weekend at the SAP headquarters in Walldorf. In addition, the first place winner of each category will be announced in Waldorf and will receive a prize of 2.500 euros.

Novità. Da quest'anno Meet and Code premierà gli eventi più significativi e li farà conoscere ad un pubblico più ampio. I premi saranno assegnati a tre categorie:

Kick and Code (tema dell'anno)
Eventi Meet and Code che cercano di risolvere un problema legato al calcio grazie all'IT o che usano il calcio come tematica per introdurre i bambini al coding. Cerchiamo eventi capaci di connettere queste due tematiche in modo creativo e costruttivo, per raggiungere i gruppi in target e condurli più a contatto con il mondo del coding e dell'IT.

Innovation
Eventi Meet and Code che sviluppano e promuovono metodi didattici creativi e/o esplorano le tematiche più attuali dell'IT e del digitale. Cerchiamo eventi che si dimostrino innovativi nel raggiungere i gruppi in target e nel connetterli con tematiche legate all'IT, e eventi che mettano a tema tecnologie di tendenza, innovative e di rottura, come l'IoT, la Blockchain, l'Intelligenza Artificiale, la stampa 3D, ecc.

Diversity
Eventi Meet and Code che usano l'IT o altre tematiche del digitale per risolvere e ridurre le diseguaglianze presenti nelle loro comunità o nella società in generale. Cerchiamo eventi che favoriscano le pari opportunità, promuovano la tolleranza ed eliminino le disuguaglianze in base a genere, razza, religione, disabilità, stato sociale o economico ecc.
Giuria del Meet and Code Award
Dr. Bernd Welz
Executive Vice President and Chief Knowledge Officer, SAP SE
Bernd Welz è Executive Vice President e Chief Knowledge Officer di SAP SE. E' responsabile della diffusione del global knowledge transfer ai clienti e ai partners di SAP e ad altre communities esterne. In qualità di esperto di digital education e education technology, è membro dell'EU Governing Board of the Digital Skills and Jobs Coalition e dell'University Council della Heidelberg University. Entrato in SAP nel 1997, Welz ha ricoperto numerosi ruoli di responsabilità in un'ottica di trasformazione ed è stato, tra gli altri, responsabile della fondazione di SAP Cloud services. Prima del suo ingresso in SAP, è stato strategy consultant presso Roland Berger Strategy Consultants in Germania e in UK. Welz ha un diploma di Master di Science degree in Computer Science presso l'Università del Massachusetts, Amherst, USA, e un diploma di dottorato in Artificial Intelligence presso il Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germania.
Anna Sienicka

Anna Sienicka è responsabile della direzione strategica di TechSoup in Europa. Segue lo sviluppo del TechSoup Europe Network. Il network è composto da 24 organizzazioni di capacity-building attive in 44 Paesi al servizio di oltre 400,000 organizzazioni registrate, che con la loro attività hanno ad oggi offerto risparmi al settore di oltre un miliardo di euro. Tra le sue responsabilità c'è il ruolo centrale dello sviluppo e della scalabilità di soluzioni tecnologiche per il sociale all'interno del network e dei territori connessi.
Clemens Frede
Head of Business Development e Membro del Management Board, Haus des Stiftens gGmbH, Monaco
Clemens Frede è membro del management board ed è a capo del business development presso Haus des Stiftens gGmbH. Nel corso degli ultimi dieci anni, ha sviluppato e ampliato il portale IT Stifter-helfen con oltre 40 partners e 60,000 organizzazioni non-profit registrate. Lavora a stretto contatto con i principali players del mercato IT e ha una lunga esperienza nel settore non profit.
